Not the measure of evil, but there is a greater evil

In a world where culture often contradicts core biblical values, we face choices as Christians: we can either stay silent or speak out. This article isn’t a political comparison between Kamala Harris and any other figure; rather, it’s a look at how the values she supports on issues like abortion and gender reassignment stand in direct deep conflict with the teachings of Scripture. And these evils not only seek to distort the original design of man, but also support the total annihilation of human life. It’s not about weighing one ‘evil’ against another but highlighting the broader impact on society when leaders promote ideals that stray from God’s design.

"It’s not about weighing one 'evil' against another but highlighting the broader impact on society when leaders promote ideals that stray from God’s design."

The reality is that certain sinful actions have a far deeper impact on humanity, as not all sins carry the same weight or produce the same level of depravity. Going forward, I am going to compare how the two evils I mentioned, gender re-assignment and abortion are not only absolutely abdominal in God’s eyes, but defy his very decree for gender and authority to assign it (Prov. 6:16-17, Is. 45:9), and in effect are absolutely devastating to civilization.

God’s Original Design: Creation, Life, and Identity

What is God’s original design for creation? The Bible is clear from the start: God designed humanity with purpose, dignity, and distinction. When He created Adam and Eve, He commanded them to “be fruitful and multiply” (Genesis 1:28), establishing life’s sanctity and humanity’s role in creation. As bearers of God’s image, male and female, we’re called to reflect His goodness, order, and truth.

In Psalm 139:13-16, we see that life itself is crafted by God’s hand: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Each life, uniquely made, is valuable to God, meant to flourish under His loving plan. Gender, as God ordains it, is an integral part of this design. The Hebrew word for “Adam” signifies both “man” and “humanity,” indicating that identity, rooted in gender, is a divine gift, unchangeable by human intervention.

Harris’s Positions: A Contrast with Biblical Values

On Abortion

Does God care for unborn children that are being crafted into his image? Kamala Harris has been a vocal advocate for abortion rights, often defending it as a fundamental right for women. In her public addresses, Harris promotes the choice to terminate pregnancies as essential to “empowering women.” She claims that to lose the ability to abort a child is step backward in women’s rights!

However, when held up to Scripture, this view falls short. The Bible upholds the sanctity of life as sacred and inviolable. Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I set you apart.” To God, life begins long before birth, and each child is known and loved by Him and God has made plans for that life even before it has came known to us.

On Gender Reassignment and Fluidity

Harris has also supported policies endorsing gender fluidity and reassignment, arguing that identity is a personal choice and should be affirmed as such. Her stance resonates with current cultural narratives that promote autonomy over one’s body and identity. But when we turn to God’s Word, we find a very different perspective. Genesis 1:27 states, “So God created mankind in his own image… male and female he created them.” Gender, according to Scripture, is not a flexible concept; it’s a divine assignment that reflects God’s perfect will for each person.

Support of Gender Ideology in the Prison System

Harris’s advocacy extends to supporting the rights of transgender individuals in the prison system, allowing them to identify and be housed according to their chosen gender. The implications of such policies are significant and often compromise the safety and well-being of others. From a biblical standpoint, only God has the authority to establish identity, and His Word instructs us to honor our bodies as He created them. This shift towards self-determined identity erodes the understanding of God-given dignity, encouraging chaos instead of order.

The Broader Implication: When Leaders Promote Unbiblical Standards

It’s a VERY serious issue when leaders endorse values that contradict God’s truth. Especially those at the very core of our existence. Gender identity and murder are attacks on a person, in which God greatly values his image within us and that we are his image barriers. As Scripture warns in Isaiah 5:20, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.” When society embraces policies that undermine life, distort identity, and dismiss the Creator’s purpose, it steps into dangerous territory. These ideologies may seem progressive, but their spiritual impact is far from harmless. As Christians, we’re called to discern truth from deception and to uphold the Word of God, regardless of cultural shifts.

Note and claim: Both fallen humans who represent these parties, just like you and me, have many sinful tendencies and have both fallen short of God’s glory. The purpose of these article is to point out that these sinful activities being promoted, not only are of the most profane to God’s heart, but are targeting to destroy and attack what is at the foundational core of what it means to be made in the image of God.

God’s Design as the Standard: Upholding Truth and Life

God’s blueprint for humanity is not restrictive but liberating. When we live according to His design, we experience true freedom, flourishing as He intended. Rather than succumbing to the pressure of society to redefine life and identity, we can look to Scripture as the ultimate authority. In John 10:10, Jesus says, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” True life, the kind that flourishes, comes only from aligning with God’s purpose.

"God’s blueprint for humanity is not restrictive but liberating. "

Conclusion: A Call to Stand Firm

We’re called to stand firm on the foundation of God’s Word, even when it’s countercultural. This article isn’t about Kamala Harris or any one person—it’s about recognizing the need for biblical truth in a world that has strayed from it. Our response must be prayerful, rooted in Scripture, and committed to upholding God’s design for life and identity. We’re called to be a light, shining with clarity and conviction in an age of moral confusion.

Let’s not grow weary of standing for truth. Instead, let’s shine even brighter, for the sake of our faith, our families, and the world that desperately needs the hope only God can provide.
